FINDING MY PURPOSE: MY JOURNEY AS A FUTURE EDUCATOR





             Hi everyone! I am Catherine M. Paredes, a BEED student at Eastern Visayas State University. Just like many students, I am really in to this kind program. Becoming a teacher was not something I fully imagined for myself before entering college. I had doubts, fears, and questions about whether this path was really for me.
            
            At the beginning, I felt nervous about teaching because I was not confident enough to speak in front of many people. I also worried if I had the patience and skills needed to become a good teacher. However, as time passed, I slowly learned to appreciate the course I chose. Through my subjects, activities, and experiences, I realized that teaching is not just about standing in front of a class, but about guiding, inspiring, and understanding learners.

I have a strong passion for teaching, especially working with children, because I believe education plays an important role in shaping their future. Teaching inspires me to be patient, creative, and understanding, as every child learns in their own unique way.          As a future educator, I am eager to improve my learning, skills, and knowledge to become an effective and responsible teacher. I enjoy discovering new teaching strategies and finding ways to make learning fun and meaningful for students.
