GROUP 4: WHERE STORIES TEACH THE ROLE OF CHILDREN'S LITERATURE IN EDUCATION

Image
This blog is all about how kids' books are so much more than just a way to keep them busy or help them drift off to sleep. We are  looking at how a great story is actually a secret weapon for learning—it is where children pick up new words, learn how to think for themselves, and start to understand big, complicated feelings like empathy and kindness.               We also dive into how teachers can bring these stories into the classroom to make schoolwork feel more like an adventure. At the end of the day, it is about more than just hitting academic goals; it is about feeding a child’s natural curiosity and helping them fall in love with reading for the rest of their lives.

A LETTER TO MY FUTURE SELF AS AN EDUCATOR

Image
Hello everyone,I am Kessiah Joyce Bacho From BEED 1-C. I grew up in a family where I was always seen as the one who was wrong. Despite the hurtful words and negative judgments thrown at me, I chose to stand firm and believe in myself. I promised myself that one day, I would prove that all their doubts were wrong, that I am capable of becoming more than what they believed I could be. I stand and choose education because I want to teach every child how to be brave, confident, and strong. I do not only want to teach lessons from books, but also to give the love, care, and understanding that every child deserves. I never want my students to feel the pain and loneliness that I once felt within my own family. Through education, I want to be the teacher I once needed. Becoming a teacher is not just about standing in front of a classroom and delivering lessonsit is about shaping minds, touching lives, and planting seeds of hope for the future. As a future educator, I am preparing my...

A JOURNEY WITH PURPOSE TO BECOMING A FUTURE EDUCATOR by. Honey Rose S. Jadulco

Welcome to my blog! This space is a reflection of who I am a student and aspiring teacher, shaped by experiences inside and outside the classroom. I created this blog to share my journey as a proud learner in Eastern Visayas State University. Hello everyone I am Honey Rose S. Jadulco from BEED 1C. To be honest, becoming a teacher was never really my dream, this course was not in my choices, i want to take a different course, like in the field of technology but because of i did not get a slot, I ended up here. At first, i was not interested in teaching because to be honest i am not into children that much, because i am a short tempered person, and i don't have a lot of patience. But little by little, I am trying to properly communicate with kids like in our neighbors, playing with them learning what they like and don't like, it may not be easy but i am doing my best to overcome this attitude, so in the future i can be a good teacher. So, as of now i am currently stud...

PLANTING SEEDS: THE GROWTH OF A FUTURE EDUCATOR

Image
Good day, everyone! I am Nica Izabella P. Toronon a BEED-1C student in Eastern Visayas State University. We’ve all heard the story of the "born teacher"—the person who, even as a child, was lining up stuffed animals to give them lessons on the alphabet. They speak of teaching as a sacred calling, a passion that burns brighter than any other flame. My story is a little different. When people ask why I chose education, I usually give the standard, polished answer. But if I’m being honest, choosing this path wasn't about a grand passion I’d nurtured since childhood. It was about practicality. I looked at the world, looked at my options, and chose a route that offered stability and a clear direction.  There’s a specific kind of guilt that comes with choosing a career for "logical" reasons. You wonder if you’re doing a disservice to the profession. I had other dreams—paths that were perhaps more creative, more "me," but ultimately more uncertain...

FINDING MY CALLING: A FUTURE TEACHER’S STORY

Image
Good day everyone. I am Lheynevelle Sabela Alcantara from BEED 1-C at EVSU. My life has been an interesting ride so far. I want to tell you a bit, about my life journey. I think it is nice to share what has been happening in my life with all of you. My life journey is something that I like to look at and I hope you will enjoy hearing about it.            When I was a kid, I really liked teaching especially to my cousins, friends and the kids who lived near me. In my mind I was like a teacher and they were my class. I felt happy when I was teaching them. It made me feel good inside even when I was very young.             When I got to high school and senior high I started to wonder if teaching was really what I should be doing. I would ask myself is teaching really what I am supposed to do? Is BEED the choice, for me? I would pray to God. Ask him to help me figure things out. ...

THE ONLY THING I AM COMMITTED TO RIGHT NOW IS BETTERING MYSELF.

Hello! My name is Rhona Mae Tolibas, and I am currently a BEED 1C student. I have a strong passion for teaching, especially working with children, because I believe education plays an important role in shaping their future. Teaching inspires me to be patient, creative, and understanding, as every child learns in their own unique way.          As a future educator, I am eager to improve my learning, skills, and knowledge to become an effective and responsible teacher. I enjoy discovering new teaching strategies and finding ways to make learning fun and meaningful for students. Through my journey in the BEED program, I hope to grow not only academically but also personally, so I can positively influence the lives of the children I will teach someday.

FINDING MY PURPOSE: MY JOURNEY AS A FUTURE EDUCATOR

Hi everyone! I am Catherine M. Paredes, a BEED student at Eastern Visayas State University. Just like many students, I am really in to this kind program. Becoming a teacher was not something I fully imagined for myself before entering college. I had doubts, fears, and questions about whether this path was really for me.                          At the beginning, I felt nervous about teaching because I was not confident enough to speak in front of many people. I also worried if I had the patience and skills needed to become a good teacher. However, as time passed, I slowly learned to appreciate the course I chose. Through my subjects, activities, and experiences, I realized that teaching is not just about standing in front of a class, but about guiding, inspiring, and understanding learners.
